Back to School: What is your child eating for lunch?

Back to School: What is your child eating for lunch?.

This is a concern for many parents myself included. Adrian follows a Gluten and Casein Free diet which has decreased his autism symptoms a no citrus and chocolate diet because of his G.E.R.D and a no artificial dye diet because of his ADHD. We also try to maintain low sodium because of his kidney diasease and very low sugar intake because of our family history with diabetes. It is very important to my husband and I to teach our children the right kinds of food their bodies need.I think that maybe the most important part of curbing childhood obesity. We already had a scare where we thought our oldest child may have developed diabetes. Thank goodness that was not the case. I am all about preventing my children from making the same mistakes I have made.
